According to Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier, the Titanfall shooter was still in the incubation phase and never officially announced. Though few details are known, it was expected to enter the competitive extraction shooter space alongside games like Bungie’s *Marathon*.

Respawn confirmed it will continue ing affected staff and exploring other opportunities within EA. Despite the cancellation, Respawn remains focused on three main projects: ongoing content for *Apex Legends*, the sequel to *Star Wars Jedi: Survivor*, and co-development of *Star Wars: Zero Company*, a turn-based strategy game set during the Clone Wars.
